Good luck next round. I hope this win is yet another thing to boost the city and make sure everyone knows that Boston is strong. And thank you for saying “that one Leafs fan” as opposed to “Leafs fans”. I hope Leafs fans pay you the same courtesy if they ever mention that one B’s fan who punched a Leafs fan in the head after game 2. Sports rivalries and ribbing is all good, but there are lines that shouldn’t be crossed. Thankfully most hockey fans seem to have common sense and common decency. That guy with the sign was either severely uninformed or a huge jackass - or more than likely both.
Dear Toronto,
I’m proud of you for making it into the playoffs and showing what true hockey is all about. Never giving up and fighting to the end.
And I’m not going to lie, I get chills when they show the massive amount of people cheering outside, just watching the game.
THAT is dedication. THAT is hockey.
